BBC Radio 1: Alice - Heartbreak Hotel
Alice is now on Radio 1's playlist! You can hear her on air for the next seven days across our daytime shows.
Supported by: Our mate Abbie McCarthy from BBC Music Introducing in Kent.
Style: A nice slice of pop.
Essential: Alice is a popstar to be reckoned with. She is originally from the seaside town of Ramsgate and has been supported by Introducing in Kent for the past year, whilst working with some of pop's biggest names including Years & Years’ producer Mark Ralph and Katy Perry collaborator Bonnie McKee. Alice is influenced by old Hollywood glamour and iconic stars such as Madonna, Britney, and Michael Jackson. Her style is fresh, modern and authentically pop. We can't wait to see what Alice does next!
BBC 1Xtra: Oliver Davis - No Sleep
Oliver Davis is on 1Xtra's playlist! You can hear his track 'No Sleep' being played all week.
Supported by: Our pal Dean Jackson at BBC Music Introducing in The East Midlands.
Style: Dreamy RnB.
Essential: Oliver Davis is a singer and songwriter from Nottingham. He only uploaded 'No Sleep' to the Introducing Uploader in June and we all loved it so much that we've made it track of the week on 1Xtra! The track was produced by Ken Samson and features a melancholy video of Oliver singing his heart out at a piano. It's a compelling RnB song and it's on repeat on our playlists!
