Essential: Girlhood are Tessa and Christian from London who first uploaded to Introducing in November 2016. The band recorded a lot of music on Christian’s canal boat studio on Regent’s Canal and they're are influenced by The Fugees and late 80s hip hop. In their track 'Bad Decisions', vocalist Tessa laments reckless late night choices over punchy production made up of reverberated piano stabs and fingerpicked guitars. We love it!

Essential: Lewbi is an artist from Leeds who first uploaded to Introducing back in 2011 when he was 17. He started making music aged 12 after being influenced by the grime scene in his local area and is now inspired by Wretch 32, J Cole and Kendrick Lamar. Lewbi also produces his own music and made the beat for ‘Let Me Down’.
