The fantastic Emily Burns is now on Radio 1's playlist! Her track 'Test Drive' is an absolute tune, and you can hear it all week being played by Clara, Grimmy, Adele, Matt & Mollie, Huw and Dev & Alice.

Supported by: The lovely people at BBC Music Introducing in Coventry & Warwickshire.

Style: Cleverly crafted pop.

Essential: Emily Burns is a 24 year-old pop artist from Warwickshire who has been supported by Introducing in Coventry & Warwickshire since 2012. At aged 17 Emily started working as a receptionist at Abbey Road after she attended a BBC Music Introducing masterclass there, leading her to work with producers and hone in on her sound. She is influenced by Sigrid, Tove Lo and Charli XCX, and this songstress is making quite a name for herself with her catchy pop songs. If you want to hear more Emily Burns, she released a mini-album back in July, titled 'Seven Scenes From The Same Summer' - it's pretty damn good. We suggest you check it out.
