Mongram are the latest BBC Introducing act to be selected for our sought after weekly spot on the Radio 1 playlist. Their track “Romance” (which you can listen to in full below) will receive plays from Clara, Greg and Scott. Find out more about the trio who are kicking up a storm in Scotland, led by Glaswegian Liam Rutherford.

Style: Combining the catchy construction of a pop-song with the credibility and ingenuity of a DIY indie-producer, Monogram had a very strong start with this as their debut track. Attracting a remix from the band Prides is no easy feat on their first shared track online and the trio have continued their energised post-pop anthems in their future tracks. For fans of Prides and Walk The Moon.
You Need To Know: This is the outfits debut single and already they’ve attracted the ears of blogs and fans worldwide. BBC Introducing in Scotland loved what they heard when Monogram first uploaded 8 months ago and Huw Stephens (Radio 1) become a supporter too. After playing dates across Scotland to a vivacious crowd we were delighted to welcome them to our stage at T In The Park 2015.
