BBC Radio 1: Cavetown - Sweet Tooth
Cambridge artist Cavetown is on Radio 1's playlist as Introducing artist of the week! Cavetown is 21 year old, Robin Skinner who started posting original songs and covers on YouTube at the age of 14. Since then he has self-released three albums and has just dropped his latest LP, ‘Sleepyhead’ which he wrote, recorded, produced and mixed himself in his bedroom. He's been championed by Ellen Ellard and the team at BBC Music Introducing in Cambridgeshire, and you'll be able to hear 'Sweet Tooth' played all week across daytime Radio 1.
BBC 1Xtra: Dux - Give Me Strength
Dux is in the Introducing hot spot this week on 1Xtra's playlist! Dux is a Kent-based UK MC and producer who specialises in Hip Hop as well as creating Grime and UK Garage with his own twist. He's influenced by the likes of Kendrick, J Cole and BBK and he's been championed by Abbie McCarthy and the crew at BBC Music Introducing in Kent.
