Photo Spoiler: Lauren and Max return

The Square has been missing the more troublesome duo of the Branning clan recently - Max and Lauren - but fear not, they are back with a bang!

Max is the first to arrive, and it's not long before he's caught up in some familiar dramas. Bumping into nemisis Carl White, Max tries to laugh off his claim that he's going to win back Kirsty, but it clearly gets to him.

Max's worries over Kirsty and Carl lead to a heated argument with his ex, but the tension becomes electric and soon leads to a very intense bout of P.D.A!

The other Branning returnee is, of course, Lauren, and she certainly looks better than the last time we saw her! Out of rehab, and seemingly now better, Lauren has returned to Walford, adamant that she just wants to get her life back on track. But Max struggles to cope with her return, and worries she's back too soon.

Lauren is keen to make amends for her behaviour before she left and pays a visit to a very surprised Joey - er, is it safe for her to be around all that alcohol Joey?!

Awkward hug alert! Joey is shocked to see Lauren back so soon, and though it's clear the two still share a bond, Lauren realises making amends is going to be a lot harder than she imagined...
