UPDATE 12TH OCTOBER 2013: Voting for the long list has now closed. Voting for the shortlist will open in January.

Is it that time of year already? My, how time flies! the 2013/14 National Television Awards are already on the horizon, and long list voting starts today.

We have six nominees in the Serial Drama Performance category this year. For the ladies, they are Diane Parish (Denise), Jessie Wallace (Kat) and Lindsey Coulson (Carol).

Whilst for the gents, we have Steve McFadden (Phil), Jake Wood (Max) and Adam Woodyatt (Ian)

Additionally, Khali Best (Dexter) is up for Most Popular Newcomer, whilst EastEnders itself is nominated for Most Popular Serial Drama.

The National Television Awards are voted for entirely by the viewers. Voting for the long list is open now, and closes on Friday 11th October.

A shortlist will be announced in early January, followed by a final round of voting to decide the winners in each category.

Blog comments will be available here in future. Find out more.
