Doctor Who Writers Confirmed
The Doctor Who Team

Talking at Comic Con 2011
It's been confirmed that Toby Whithouse and Chris Chibnall are writing episodes for the new series of Doctor Who. Both writers have previously penned stories full of pace, horror and humour so it's great news they're back on board for what will be an amazing new season!
Toby hinted at his involvement in an interview last year. When asked if he would be writing future adventures, he replied, 'Well, let's just say... emails have been exchanged. Ideas have been discussed. Tea has been drunk.' Well-known for writing and creating BBC Wales' award-winning Being Human, he has previously contributed to three series of Doctor Who, writing School Reunion, The Vampires of Venice and The God Complex.
Chris Chibnall's credits include Life on Mars, Torchwood and United, and for Doctor Who, 42 and The Hungry Earth/Cold Blood which saw the return of the Silurians.
As previously reported, filming on the new series begins on 20 February, 2012 and we'll be bringing you more news about Chris and Toby's episodes as it comes in!
