We may have to wait until Easter Saturday for The Bells
of Saint John but the Doctor was back on BBC One when he made a cameo
appearance on this years’ Comic Relief.
Matt Smith’s presence continued a long tradition of Doctor Who being involved in Red Nose Day. In previous years we’ve seen the Doctor popping up on Comic Relief in mini-adventures and even - back in 1999 – in a spoof written by Steven Moffat.
