Your Favourite Matt Moment
The Doctor Who Team

You voted in your thousands and we had a runaway winner
for your favourite moment of the Eleventh Doctor’s era… It was the final scene
of The Day of the Doctor where the Eleventh Doctor gives a moving voice-over
whilst onscreen he joins the former Doctors.
‘A brilliant way to end a brilliant episode!’ Paul enthused when he nominated the scene. ‘Matt Smith’s closing speech is beautifully delivered and the look on his face when he joins his former selves and looks toward his long-lost home planet was fantastic!’
You can watch the scene now and BBC iPlayer users can enjoy the entire episode online until the evening of Sunday, 29 December.
Only two or three percent separated the next batch of your favourite Matt moments with scenes from Vincent and the Doctor, The Rings of Akhaten, The Pandorica Opens and The Eleventh Hour proving phenomenally popular.
