You Decide: Who is the Ultimate Doctor Who Villain?

This is your chance to be part of Doctor Who history! We want your vote in a quest to discover the answer to a keenly contested question: Who is the ultimate Doctor Who villain?

As we approach the 50th anniversary we’re celebrating all those monsters, madmen and fabulous fiends that the Doctor has faced and we need your help to discover which one should be crowned ‘the ultimate’! Starting next week we’ll bring you the top ten contenders and following the reveal of the nominations, we’ll ask you to vote on this site to decide the outcome!

Your votes will then be counted and the results announced in the ‘Doctor Who: Monsters and Villains Weekend’ on BBC Three in November, as part of the celebrations to mark 50 years of Doctor Who.

Over the next couple of weeks we’ll be sharing some great clips, facts and photos about various villains to help you decide… but the decision is yours!

Everyone has memories of a certain scene that chilled or thrilled them… The first time we saw a Dalek in all their sinister glory; the arrival of the merciless Cybermen or the time we were told not to blink as the Weeping Angels made their deadly debut… Or perhaps it’s a half-remembered moment featuring another baddie from Doctor Who’s incredible rogues’ gallery. So, share your memories with friends and family and try to decide which is the ultimate villain. Then cast your vote on this site and tune into BBC Three to find out the winner!
