The Doctor has returned to his home planet… The long way round! He’s unsurprisingly angry at what he’s been put through and we can’t wait to see how and where he directs his fury…
Enemies!
We don’t know how they fit into the finale but any episode featuring Daleks, Cybermen and Weeping Angels gets our vote. Just. Don’t. Blink…
Look who’s back!
We’re big fans of Ashildr so it’s great to see Maisie Williams back in the finale. It’s the one time that a ‘Me, Me, Me’ scenario is perfectly acceptable.
Lines to die for!
We love the exchange the Doctor has with the General in this trailer and reckon there’ll be some terrific back and forth in Hell Bent!
Bones!
Yes! Ken Bones is back as the General. He brings such gravitas and was so great in The Day of the Doctor that we’re intrigued to know how he’ll handle the Doctor’s return. And wait a minute… In the video above, is the Doctor striking him..? We want to know and make no bones about it… (Ouch. Sorry).
Enigmas
They don’t come much bigger than the Hybrid… Will Hell Bent solve the mystery of who or what the Hybrid is? Does the video below give us any hint? That is, that is text book enigmatic…
Now, we all know that finales tend to be BIG episodes in terms of spectacle and drama...
...and judging by what Steven Moffat has to say about the episode, Hell Bent will be no exception.
Time!
A running time of just under 65 minutes makes this a bumper bonanza of Doctor Who! So, with our hero back on his home planet, the stakes raised to the max and with old friends and enemies gathering on Gallifrey, the Doctor might be in the Constellation of Kasterborous but from 8pm, on Saturday we’ll be in front of the telly enjoying a finale to remember!
