Overheard: "India's great strengths are the youth of the population, the numbers speaking english and the investment in education and infrastructure. Its weakness is if there's a change of government or instability that investment will disappear. China, on the other hand, has a strategy and will see it through to the end....."

I think intrinsic strength of India is its Family system.Parents care young children and children care old parents.

Actually, as can be seen in the last few elections, a change of power in the Government of India has not had a major impact on investment - both FDI and Government-sponsored. For example, the Golden Quadrangle Project started by the NDA coalition is still under way, and almost all of the FDI regulations are still intact. If anything, the climate is even more investor friendly!
