24 Hour Panel Person

Yesterday, David Walliams successfully completed his 24 Hour Panel People marathon for Comic Relief.

Mr Walliams delivered a tour-de-force performance as host, team captain and guest on a non-stop web broadcast of seemingly never-ending panel shows.

"It was tough, yes, but it was the right side of tough," said the Come Fly With Me and Little Britain star.

"I mean if I was slumped on the desk not saying anything I think it really wouldn't have been very entertaining but you could see I was a little bit delirious towards the end."

Sorry,David. That really was Jedward on Celebrity Juice. You weren't hallucinating.

Walliams has previously swam the English Channel for Sport Relief, eventually raising more than one million pounds after training for nine months.

Comparing the marathon with that swim, Walliams said "with this I had a lot less sense of how it was going to work out because I really didn't know how I would be after staying awake for so long and also being on TV and trying to be entertaining - it is so different."

Well done David, you combined the cool of a David Blaine stunt with laughs of Come Fly With Me.
