Hello from Los Angeles, California, US of A!

For those of you who heard the show yesterday, you'll know that we're back from our holidays, but we're not in the UK - we're actually in Los Angeles this week.

We've been planning this week of shows for the last few months as Heroes is launching there in the UK at the same time as it launches here in the US so they've invited us out to meet the cast and generally get excited about the new series. As we were coming out though we couldn't resist calling on a few of our friends who live out here and asked whether they wanted to come in!

Yesterday we went to see The Simpsons!

To be honest, it was mind blowing! to sit in the studio and watch these nice voice over people suddenly open their mouths and out came all these famous Simpsons voices was a very weird and surreal moment!

As someone who loves our blog I had high hopes for the usefullness of the blog this week. Giving you updates of what we were getting up to with photos of this and then. It's only since getting out here I realise that's not going to happen because our working day of midday to 2am is your 8pm to 10am - and there's not much blog demand during those hours :)

So here's my 10pm blog - or for you, the pre-Tuesday show blog. Today on the show we've got another Dave and Dom story, Mel B's on the show live and we have stories from that Simpsons visit.

In the meantime, Hoop Dog is out here and has put together a very cool LA minisite. Check out our videos, photos, interactive map (oooh!) and don't forget for this week only there's a full length podcast EVERYDAY! Wow.

More LA stories throughout the week as the rest of the team blog their thoughts.

Have a nice day now :)

Aled
xx
