Morning Chris,

Moments like that are priceless- thank you for sharing it with us. My son was always a very early riser as a baby, and I would bring him into bed with Mr Mcw and me, and start reading quietly to him and eventually he would settle down and listen even though he was too young to understand. I think it is the gentle rhythm of the speaking voice.

When you broadcast 12.5 hours of absolutely brilliant radio every week, how do you decide what goes on the Podcast? Whose decision is it what goes on the Podcast?

I used to look forward to Russell Brand's Podcast, but given that he only did one show a week, it was pretty much the entire show content, minus the music.

Priceless moments Christoff. It's a fact, children love books, and from the moment my babies arrived (more years ago than I care to remember) they were always calmed by reading to them, especially at bedtime. I'm happy to say it's just the same with the grandchildren, even the ones that have now learnt to read themselves!

You'll find they will be countless priceless moments and not all of them "brilliant" some of the most priceless moments i have of me and my daughter are doing the everyday things together. Like the shopping on a friday after a 300mile round trip to pick her up then washing up then on sat doing the ironing whilst she played her games on me pc and cocking up the cooking on a sunday before taking her home. Indeed there are some priceless moments spent in the car when it was just us two going to and from her house.

Sorry been absent - trying to get house back in order after heating men have finished. We now have working hot water and central heating again!!

I too am thinking of all those who are going to celebrate Beez life today. Deev's I'm glad you got the tweet read,which was v good as well.

Although this is a sad day, may we all remember Jane as the wonderful, funny, full of life woman, who changed all of us, who met her or had contact with her. Hopefully someone will be able to say the same about us!

Hi. Treasure those moments Chris. Sometimes you run out of things to say to someone who doesn't talk back, but they still like to hear your voice. I read to mine from babies, anything and everything. And sang of course. I remember sometimes just reading out the very long chemicals in shampoo ingredients at bathtime. My eldest just loved that, and would beg for more. The longer the word, the more hilarious the laughter.

Happy times.

Not been having such happy times in Boleyn Towers lately for various reasons, now is not the time or place to discuss today. Consequently haven't been on here at all, but of course I had to add my very best wishes and lots of love to those attending Beezer's funeral. I will be thinking of you, and her of course.

My son was none too well last week and still wasn't 100% on Saturday last but he insisted I rad him a story before bed and that Deevs and Grandma had to be present to listen too. A lovely moment and he went to sleep contented and awoke feeling much better the next morning. And, I know what you meant this morning about living in the moment...you never know...

Just wanted to say, I'm sorry I haven't been around lately but had to pop in to say I was shocked to learn of Beez's premature death. I remember receiving a very warm welcome from her when I first started blogging and although we only shared a couple of blog moments, like CLP's moment with Noah last night, they were very special. Having lurked for a while I knew how lovely Beez was and I know she will be missed from this blog. Suffice to say I shed a tear when I learned of the news and have been thinking of you all since. My thoughts are with Beez's family and the bloggers attending her funeral this afternoon.

All's well chez moi but it has been v busy. Hoping to be able to spare some time to at least lurk soonly. If I don't see you before, I hope to pop in for FNWC.

Chris - love that special moment, would give anything to go back just for a couple of seconds with my son when he was 16 months old and have one more cuddl. He is now 19 and I am nothing but an embarrassment, but just ocassionally we have a priceless moment together where I see that twinkle in his eye and my little boy is there briefly. Enjoy every precious moment.

It has been a very sad today. I have been thinking of our Beez (our afternoon delight) all day and had a quiet moment at 2.30. I cant explain the effect that her sudden death has had on me and I know that i probably don't need to explain as i know we are all feeling the same.

I have "lurked" (don't really like that word but it fits the bill somehow!) around this blog and posted but a few times. I have not been around for a few weeks and just could not believe what I was reading this morning - about poor Beez and her untimely death. I have never met her, but have always read her posts which regularly left a smile on my face. Her warm hearted way of blogging lead me to look her photo up on FB and her image well matched my own idea of the lady she obviously is. I know she will be sorely missed by you all - she was obviously a massive part of all of your lives on here and I send my condolences to each and every one of you. Remember the saying though,
"You can weep because she is has died, or you can smile because she lived"

I agree. She touched so many lives and I for one am glad I had the priviledge of meeting her. She will be missed by many and I think in a way that would have surprised her. She was just being Beez. Her caring nature came naturally.

At 2.30 I was able to take a step back from daily life and my thoughts were with Beez, her family and all her (on and offline) friends.
I feel so privileged to have met her through this blog.

One of the 'fiends' has returned, thought I'd shed my last tears in the chapel and then started again as the remaining bloggers were leaving the wake and were thanked by Beez' sister. She was welling up and it was hard to hold my own tears back. You might like to know that we have 'adopted' one of Beez' nieces as an honorary blogger!
PiP has offered to send a word document of the blog on the day we learnt of Jane's passing so that they can all read it at their own pace when the time seems right.
Was a very fitting service for an amazing lady and I for one was so glad I could attend

I managed to get home by 7.45, wel done the Puffball.

It was a beautiful service. It started raining as soon as we went into the Church, but when we came out, we were greeted by an amazing warmth from the sun. Although some very black storm clouds were looking very threatening.

Beez' family were very welcoming and we spent a lot of time sharing memories.

As Mr Beez walked out to go home at the end (yes, we were the last ones to go!!) I heard his elderly Mother comment 'are those the bloggers'. Wasn't that lovely.

The family flowers were so lovely, mostly yellow. They looked stunning in the bright sunshine.

I felt very priveleged to be there today.

Its lovely to read all the posts that are on here, when we were in the service.

Just pouring a very cold Scrumpy Jack, cheers everyone.
