We're thrilled to be able to announce that X Factor finalist Amelia Lily is the latest pop star to join the 2012 POP Goes the Musical campaign, raising money for this year's BBC Children in Need appeal.

With such stars as Geri Halliwell, Blue and Alexandra Burke having already taken to the West End stage this year, attention now turns to Amelia and the cast of Shrek The Musical. The X Factor finalist will take to the stage to perform a unique collaboration with cast members from the award-winning show on Wednesday 14 November - just two days before this year's annual Appeal Show telethon on Friday 16 November.
