there are two songsters who i shall never request.
and its always with deep disappointment that i hear them regularly on the show.
one who shall remain nameless meantime.
the other i feel fits in with the flip side of half the programme for thursday.
never mind pain,this man inflicted terror on an infant by swinging the child over a balcony at some height.indefensible.
so to redress the balance i think it a small gesture to play a song which never gets a hearing but its one of the most innocent songs about pleasure, ever.
so stand up and be counted, if songs by michael jackson can be aired i cannot see any reason whatsoever why this song cannot be played.................

Aye, that's a good one.

If it's pain you're after then Christy's Delirium Tremens would do nicely. Not entirely sure it's tea-time radio suitable though - depends on which version you have. The studio album version is broadly OK, but live: definitely not! There's a verse that starts OK (and on theme):

but goes rapidly downhill after that, involving barbed wire...

There's a Steeleye Span song by the same name, which may or may not be the same song, the vocals are too much like fingernails on polystyrene for me to listen to.
