We already did tons of DJ mixes over the years. The first ones we did when we were like 14 or 15 years old. Back then, we recorded them on tape. Everytime it was a big thing, almost an event when we recorded new mixes. You prepared well, invited friends over. This all took place in Szary's garage. Yeah, a small garage where usually old tires were stored. But nobody cared about that - it was all about listening to the mix. We recorded the Essential Mix just like that - in one run, with the spirit of those years way back. No concept really, just going with the flow, the feeling... BERLIN!
