Underworld in session

Pete TongPete Tong|14:40 UK time, Friday, 17 September 2010

Underworld are one of the bands that define electronic music as we know it today. From the very beginning they have challenged the boundaries of sound, vision and song structure. It doesn't surprise me that they are still making vital records in 2010. Their new album BARKING has just been released to rave reviews and includes collaborations with High Contrast, Mark Knight & Dubfire.

I was thrilled to be able to record an exclusive session with the band at the world famous Maida Vale studios a few days ago and will be broadcasting this special show on Friday at 9pm (GMT) It was a fun evening where I got to learn some of Carl's 'David Brent' style dance moves, although he assures me Ricky Gervais copied him! Dont miss it! Pete Tong

says thanks to them for me - they provided much of the soundtrack for 15 luved up years.

Best Memories, first time listening to DNBWMHM for the first time, Born Slippy Live of course, but most of all coming back from the club with good friends, whacking on any Underworld album ..........
