Musical Tastes & What We Play
My colleague Tristan Ferne who works in BBC Audio & Music's research and development team wrote a couple of interesting posts on the Radio Labs blog last week that are both well worth reading.
The first, BBC Radio Waves, is about "a prototype visualisation that takes data about music played recently on BBC Radio and creates a time profile for any individual radio network, musical genre or radio show".

The second post is a fascinating look at how people describe their musical tastes, from lengthy decriptions to personal artefacts.
