So Whatever you're doing tonight check us out from 10pm or listen again next week. As always opinions and feedback are appreciated..so please don't hesitate to let me know what you reckon to it. I'm off to pace the streets for a while..xx

ish..
It's wednesday afternoon..I'm covering for Zane Lowe tonight and am just about to go into work to go through this weeks music. Have heard some very good things about Soulwax's remix of Robbie Williams new single and I can't wait to hear it.
So tomorrow night is our last Thursday show ever...we still have to decide what minimixes you want to hear for the last time... maybe Zinc? Basement Jaxxes? Mylos? let us know..
I've had to cancel my gig at Amnesia in Ibiza tomorrow night so sorry to anyone who was going to be there...
WIZZAIR
Hello...it's Monday morning, I'm a but fuzzyheaded after returning from Poland late last night. We flew WIZZAIR to Warsaw. I know it's childish but I find that name too funny. We spent the whole weekend in Warsaw..it's a beautiful place steeped in the saddest history. 85% of the city was bombed to smithereens during the second world war so it's a strange juxtapostion of beautiful old buildings with the bullet holes still intact, and ugly 50's architecture. I played a club called Club On-Off in the centre of Warsaw, a dark underground basement with a great soundsystem. The last time I played Poland was nearly a year ago and it felt like I had improved alot since then.. I played for nearly three hours and fuelled myself with tequila every once in a while. I played mainly house music but rounded it off with a little drum and bass which went down very well indeed. The Polish people are lovely, warm and so friendly. Life is harder over there, their basic working wage is alot less that what we get and thus young people are so much more aware of politics and social economics than we are.
Check the pictures taken by the promoters Norbert and Igor..
So we've got one Thursday left before the big move to Friday nights on Radio 1. I'm off to Ibiza for the last time after this weeks show..am playing the closing party for Cream at Amnesia. Then am playing an Annie Mac Presents at Fabric this Friday..I've got High Contrast doing a house set! I love the fact that High Contrast is buying and playing around with house now...i can't wait to see what he plays..
last night..
hey..hope you enjoyed the show last night..I certainly did. That Noisia track blew me way..they are going to be massive. They are the ones who did Lekker Lekker originally....
Also the new Ashley Beadle record 'Move It Girl' and the new Mocky and the new Beck! And I thought that J Majik and Wickaman 'Crazy World' track sounded amazing on air. There's just so much good music around at the moment, I need an 8 hour show to squeeze all the tunes in! Let me know what you thought...
I'm off to Poland tomorrow morning to play at Club On Off in Warsaw... then the Annie Mac Presents tour kicks off as of next week..you can check out the tour dates HERE. My compilation is finally out aswell..So far reviews have been good so that's a relief. Have a wicked weekend!!
POST BESTiVAL...
It's Monday afternoon..my compilation album is out today and I'm off into town in a bit to see it in the shops.
Bestival was literally, the best festival of the Summer. It's got all the best bits of every festival, the magical otherworldliness of Glastonbury, the friendliness of The Big Chill and a line up that can't be compared to any other festival. Klaxons, Guillemots, Jamie T, Hot Chip, Scissor Sisters, Erol Alkan, Metronomy, Gogol Bordello and hundreds more played over the weekend on the Isle Of Wight.
Friday was my set.. I was nervous as last years Bestival gig was the one I most enjoyed out of all my 2005 gigs and I wanted this years to live up to last years. The festival was bigger this year, the Bollywood Bar was stretched longer so that I couldn't see the end of the tent when I was behind the decks. The crowd was amazing, and from the second I started my set with a big siren noise.. nothing went wrong.. I played the Trentmoller mix of Moby's Go and Mason Exceeder as well as Leftfields' Spaceshanty and the Tiefschwarz mix of Spektrum's Kinda New, and ended with High Contrast's Racing Green. The hightlight of the weekend was outside the Bollywood Bar on Saturday afternoon. The sun was blazing down and everybody was dressed up and completely hyperactive for the fancy dress parade. The mood was 'be as ridiculous as possible' and it was very infectious. Favourite outfits of the day, was a can't stopper dressed as a giant whoopee cushion, a bloke with a hollowed out TV on his head and a guy dressed up as a cycle path. I wore a mask of Baloo from the Jungle book. We saw Erol Alkan and Pet Shop Boys and DJ Derek, a white octogenarian reggae DJ who speaks in Jamaican patois between every track. He was my favourite.
Anyways..I Djed again yesterday afternoon from 12 to 2pm. It was supposed to be a chill out set but due to the sunny day and my lack of sleep..it turned into quite a banging affair and I was chuffed that so many people turned up. So I missed the Scissor sisters, what were they like? If you were at Bestival did you have a good weekend? if not, where did you go? what did you do? don't forget we have 2 weeks of Thursday night's left so keep voting for your favourite minimix below...xx
