AVA Festival 2016 Lineup Announced

AVA (Audio Visual Arts) festival and conference returns to Belfast’s T13 for a second year on Saturday 4th June 2016. The event offers a platform for emerging and established electronic DJs, producers and audiovisual artists in Ireland.

With a mix of new names and a sprinkling of international artists, today’s first wave of line up announcements, over three festival stages include:

Berlin techno DJ RØDHÅD for his first Northern Irish appearance, a homecoming and UK first Live Show for Bicep with visuals from internationally revered Guerrilla Shout, atmospheric disco-house-techno from Mano Le Tough, vinyl explorers Optimo, Gerd Janson, Sunil Sharpe, Psycatron, T-Bone B2B JMX, Brame & Hamo, Terriers Live, Hammer, JC Williams (Live), Misfit Live, OR:LA, Jika Jika, Twitch DJ's, Belfast Music Club.

One main focus of the AVA programming, is homegrown expertise coming from Shine resident Phil Kieran, Extended Play’s Jordan, plus Swoose & Cromby. There will also be a free day conference open to the public of all ages, including Ableton workshops, music production, panels and lectures. And the live streaming Boiler Room - the renowned Electronic Music Video platform, is also set to return.
