Ciaran Lavery – Return to Form (Live in Session)

Wednesday 12th October, 2016

They say:
“’Return to Form’ was the lead single from the Let Bad In record. The song itself to its core is pretty much a celebration of getting older & simultaneously disconnected with the ever changing world.

With this arrangement we were able to strip things back to the essence of the song itself. No frills, no flairs, just three voices & a guitar.”

We say: “The whole session is sublime, of course - and a brand new, never before performed song - alongside a jawdropping Nirvana cover made it particularly special, even by Ciaran’s standards. So ahead of checking out the whole thing, enjoy something familiar - a standout moment from the incredible ‘Let Bad In’ performed just for us, in studio 8D.”

Ciaran continues his ‘Prince of Norway’ tour with dates in Portstewart, Donegal, and Ballymena on the 13th, 14th and 15th of October 2016 respectively, before dates in the Netherlands, Germany, England and Scotland.

As often as possible Across the Line aims to bring you a great new, recent or interesting track each day, Monday to Friday. To get your new music to Across the Line send it via the BBC Introducing Uploader.
