Here's Eoin to tell us what makes him tick....

The first record I ever bought was either Nevermind or Rage Against the Machine's self titled album, the last record I bought was The Best of Steely Dan.
I wanted to be a performer from a young age. I started writing my own material at the age of 14 and this gave me a desire to join a band or at least get on a stage and start performing the songs. I was inspired by many musicians throughout my youth. Everyone from Kurt Cobain to Stevie Wonder.

I tend to go to gigs with my wife. She's an amazing musician in her own right and we love the scene that I've become a part of. I also love the classical scene that she is involved in too. The last gig we attended together was the BBC Sons and Daughters gig. We both were on stage that night and it was lovely to share the experience with her.
I'd happily share the stage with an artist called Shane McCaul. You may recognise him from the dedication he has to singing the BVs on my material. He has his own material coming out in the coming months and it's beautiful. SOAK would also be welcome on my imaginary stage. In the Greenroom at the recent Sons and Daughters gig she told me that a gig she supported me on just 10 months ago was only her 2nd gig ever! She has done wonders since then, it's amazing.
Soak, aka Bridie Monds-Watons, performs 'Sea Creatures' live on Across The Line
Derry's very own Paul Casey has been very kind to me over the last year and his newest cinematic compositions are wonderful. He's welcome too!
I'd love to have some of the Steely Dan guys play on my records. They're especially good at picking great solos. I don't play covers these days but I've been in bands in the past where I did. Highlights include everything from Ray Charles to Ben Folds Five!
