The sound of Belfast is back with a bang! Even bigger and better than before!
The sound of Belfast festival is an annual celebration of some of the best music the city has to offer, originally created by the Oh Yeah centre to shine a light on N.I’s rising talent. Over the years it has become a blend of independent and collaborative events that will take place this year between the 4th - 18th of November. These unique events are created and curated by the musicians, creatives, promoters, venues and artists involved. So expect a diverse lineup of activities, gigs and talks!
Last year saw the sound of Belfast live through a series of events online but this year Team ATL are happy to confirm that the majority of the events will be in person. So expect live panels, live gigs and live conversations across the city of Belfast! Over 50 events will be taking place this year, across 11 venues so there’s plenty to go around.
Some of the events include:
- 'True North’ - Sound of belfast opening night at Oh Yeah with a special double-header; Gareth Dunlop and Jealous of The Birds
