A conference which centres around punk legends The Clash will take place in Belfast on 20th & 21st June at University of UIster’s Belfast Campus. The event will bring together academics, journalists, photographers and musicians, with The Clash’s infamous 1977 Ulster Hall Show that never happened being one of the many topics which is set to be discussed.
CastlePalooza Music Festival has announced the latest additions to its August weekender. French hip-hop act Onra joins the festival as one of its headliners, with Synaesthete, Leni Morrison, Dear Desert, Sam Evans & The Jammerz and Alphabetical all set to appear at Charleville Castle, Co. Offaly.
Meanwhile, Cork festival Indiependence have just added Raglans, Colour // Sound, Benny Smiles, Johnny Rep, Danny Battles, Kodakid, The Amazing Apples, Cronin, Audible Joes and Lennoko to their own line up set to take place from 1st to 3rd August.
