Hiva Oa – Jonny Brazil (In Session)

Thursday 13th April, 2017

They say: “Jonny Brazil can be a self-assessment of the person you would love to be, but someone who, upon closer inspection, wish you had never met. It's about letting your guard down, acting out of character or not understanding the full extent of the situation you can sometimes find yourself in, until it's too late.”

We say: “Fair play to Stephen, Christine and Chris (three fifths of Hiva Oa) - they managed to capture everything we love about their band, despite having to scale down a little for a Studio 3 recording. What they do is borderline clubby - this is a proper song, with heart and soul.”

Hiva Oa launch their new EP 'Mkll (part 2)' on Saturday 22nd April at The Pavilion, Belfast.

As often as possible Across the Line aims to bring you a great new, recent or interesting track each day, Monday to Friday. To get your new music to Across the Line send it via the BBC Introducing Uploader
