Miriam O'Shea - Dance With You
Tuesday 24th May, 2016
They Say: “‘Dance With You’, is about the good memories that remain after a relationship has ended. That no matter how bad it seems at the time, you can always take away something positive.
I started off playing ‘Dance With You’ live around London with a four-piece band and at the time it had a more pop-rock feel. But in studio it evolved into a more electronic sound, and was inspired by UK Bass, which was the sound of the city.
The music video was filmed on Silverstrand Beach on the west coast of Ireland where I grew up, so it means a lot to me that we got to film the video in such a beautiful and personal location.”
We Say: "A simple concept - Miriam’s huge voice complimented beautifully by suitably epic production. There’s loads going on in this track - modern takes on retro synth sounds, big beats and quirky touches - and as a result it’s pretty impossible to pigeon hole. Yet the whole thing comes together as a slick and effortlessly cool four minutes of summer electro."
Dance With You is the new single from Irish/Moroccan artist, Miriam O'Shea, and is available to buy now.
