Alias Empire - Carol of the Bells

Monday 21st December 2015

They Say: "Finding and agreeing upon a track to work on proved difficult but we did have a shared love of the film Home Alone. So this coupled with the fact Carol of the Bells is an amazing piece of music made it the right choice for us.

Armed with just a couple of microkorgs and sampled clicks and snaps the track was arranged, recorded & mixed in one day, back in 2008. Merry Christmas you filthy animal......and a happy new year."

We Say: "Beautifully glitchy and hugely atmospheric, today's Track for the Day is one from the archive. ATL's carol service returns tonight, 21st December, with 2 hours of festive themed tracks including new recordings from RUNAWAY[GO], The Late Twos, Ryan Vail and REWS. Plus Arborist, R51, Tommy & Frances from Loris and Stevie Mac will be joining us live in studio."

Originally recorded under the name Dry County for the ATL Carol service in 2008, Alias Empire released their third album 'Focus' in August 2015.
