Cut in Blinks - Substance
They Say: “This track all stemmed from a sample of an ambulance siren and a weird French speaking vocal I had. Everything else just fell nicely into place around them. I get inspired by the darker side of electronic music - sort of 4am stuff – in fact sounds that should never see the light of day.”
We Say: “While a certain amount of personality and a semblance of a hook elevates this track to much more than mere soundtrack fodder, 'Substance' remains an itchy, paranoid two-and-a-half minutes made for your headphones. Inevitably Cut in Blinks is relatively anonymous, hidden in the shadows.”
