DAZ Featuring Marguerite Casey & DJ O-One - Keep It Old School
They Say: "The track is a story about Daz growing up and becoming fascinated with Hip Hop in the late 90s and early 2000 era. It's a dedication to some of the artists Daz was inspired by, with plenty of quotes and references to past Hip Hop icons. It’s also a story about struggling to get the equipment and technics down for making Hip Hop music and becoming driven to create and motivate others in the rise of Belfast Hip Hop.
This track is the last track on the new album titled ‘Rich in Faith'. The track was produced by Aspaldikoa from Lyon, France and features vocals from Belfast’s Marguerite Casey and the scratches are provided by Belfast Producer DJ O-One."
We Say: "There’s something very fun and charming about retrospective Hip Hop - and references to Limewire, Bebo and Westwood on a Friday night win us over in an instant. Add slick production, a big chorus and a tight flow and you’ve an anthem in the making from this Belfast Hip Hop maestro."
