Don't Shoot - Dance with Sincerity
Monday 2nd November 2015
They Say: "The title 'Dance with Sincerity' actually came from a review of our last E.P by Mark McConville (Moshville Times). Our guitar player Fearghal loved this phrase so much he wanted it in a song! There wasn't much composing in the song, it was written basically on a walk home from work, then one session with the band put it all together. As soon as we had the chorus melody it reminded us of Frightened Rabbit, and we've always stated them as one of our biggest influences. Simple and catchy is all we wanted from this one! Very fun to play live".
We Say: "Rarely does indie rock n’ roll sound so thoughtful - but Don’t Shoot have nailed the production, added a few subtle synths and turned a straight up pop rock song into something of an anthem. Definitely one to get hands in the air, it’s a set closer with ‘live favourite’ written all over it".
Dance with Sincerity is from the band's upcoming release 'That's the Truth Even if it Never Happened' which is out through Broken Road Records on 4th December. 'The Wonderkid' E.P from the band is out now.
