Robocobra Quartet - Correct

Wednesday 5th October, 2016

They say:

"This song borrows phrases and quotes from conversations I've heard and participated in. It's a song written from the point of view of a person dealing with the isolation that comes with being perceived as having the world figured out.

We recorded most of this song at Start Together Studio and then went to Mandela Hall to double-up the ending section with a second drum-kit."

We say:

"Great to hear the return of Chris Ryan's rumbling, honking combo after a relatively quiet period.

Happily, RC have retained many of their most charming features and Correct is the sound of a free-jazz tourbus colliding with some punk misanthropists at Speaker's Corner. Random And The Rants, you might say."

Robocobra Quartet launch their forthcoming LP, 'Music For All Occasions' on Friday 18th November at 101 Donegall St, c/o Moving On Music.

As often as possible Across the Line aims to bring you a great new, recent or interesting track each day, Monday to Friday. To get your new music to Across the Line send it via the BBC Introducing Uploader.
