Always nice when our gig of the week doubles up - as is the case with Droids, who play shows in both Belfast and Derry this week! The four piece are your quintessential North West outfit, really - noisy and jagged riffs, great presence, what you might call a real powerhouse - very much in the vein of Jetplane Landing and Fighting with Wire. Which is a very good thing, obviously. Furthermore - one of ATL's highlights at Glasgowbury 2012!

Droids play Radar at QUBSU on Thursday, with Gascan Rukus and Hologram. They then play Masons, Derry on Friday with Hornets and Chocolate Love Factory. Both shows are indeed free entry.
