The incredible distortion project have teamed up with Start together studios in Belfast to offer 3 lucky acts the chance to record and release a whole album for FREE on distortion records! Yes that’s right for free!
You’ll get to spend a whole week rocking out at Start together studios, have your album released via CD, Digitally and on Vinyl too; plus a shiny PR campaign to ensure optimum promotion. But that’s not all; you will be provided with support in the form of planning, preparation, advice, tour booking and festival slots and general guidance tailored to your band specifically. What more could you want?

Application criteria
- Must be based in Northern Ireland
- Must active with a stable line-up
- Must have live experience and be prepared to tour and play live in 2022 and beyond. Tour experience is a bonus too.
- Must have, or be working towards, a full albums worth of material. This project is geared towards full length releases and not Eps etc.
- Must be unsigned / self signed. Having previous releases on a smaller label is fine too.
