Don’t Shoot - Panic
They Say: “The lyrics were based on a love of horror films. 'Panic' originally started life as two songs, which were put together in a writing session with the band. When at Millbank Studios we decided we wanted the song to have a kind of country swing to it at the start, reminiscent of some of Frightened Rabbit's 'Midnight Organ Fight' Album. The end of the song really gets going with the refrain and building of instruments.”
We Say: “For a band who are both relatively new and irritatingly young, it’s impressive this track is very much the finished product. Catchy, welcoming and flawlessly presented, they’re ready for a big step forward.”
