Deadman’s Ghost - Insula

They Say: “I'm interested in the interplay between music and moving image so approached the Belfast Film Festival with the idea of doing something for their 2016 trailer. Previous years had featured Squarepusher 'Iambic 5 Poetry' and Moby 'Shot In The Back Of The Head' so I was conscious of the loose, melodic style that worked with their visual collages.
David's beats were the first part of the track to go down, all programmed but with a very live feel. I put a really deep bassline over that and then used a few different synths and guitars to give it plenty of colour. We actually submitted two tracks but this one was chosen, so if you're in the cinema in Belfast over the next month you will probably hear it.”
