Electric Picnic has added 21 new acts to its line up, including Villagers, Girlpool, Le Galaxie, Jape and LittleHours. The full line up, including headliners Florence + The Machine and Blur, can be found here. The festival takes place in Stranbally Hall, Co.Laois from the 4th to 6th September 2015.
The last Million Dollar Reload gig will take place on 15th August in The Empire, Belfast. The five piece from Co.Tyrone are being supported by The Irontown Diehards and The Rising.
The first Beat Root festival is taking place in The Crescent Arts Centre, Belfast from 3rd to 5th September 2015. Acts playing the alternative roots festival include Robyn G Shiels, Furrow Collective and Richard Dawson.
Blacklistershave announced a UK tour and released details of a new single Shirts and a video to go alongside it. The quartet, who are signed to Derry label Smalltown America, will release their second album Adult in September. Their tour dates can be found on their website.
