We say: "Mick McCullagh has worked under many guises - performing first in Colenso Parade, more recently as Meb Jon Sol and now as Son of the Hound. What’s always remained is his knack for telling a story, his expertise at delving into the mystical and his penchant for outstanding facial hair."
They say: "After we played the track, Stu said the lyrics were like Kerouac beat poetry. Aside from the chorus that came quickly, there's about fifteen to twenty unused verses in a notebook somewhere, so I suppose he has a point! The music is supposed to evoke Morricone and Tarantino soundtracks, hopefully that comes across in the stripped back live session."
Son Of The Hound will perform at Róisín Dubh, Galway, on Wednesday 18th November and The Atlantic Bar, Portrush, on Friday 20th November, 2015.
