Mugged By A Ghost – The Midwest
Monday 20th February, 2017
They say: “ ‘The Midwest’ is a song very much inspired by my influences in the pop punk world. Anyone who enjoys this genre may know of the trope of the American bands writing about leaving their midwestern hometowns in search of bigger and better things.
When I wrote this song I was thinking of what it would be like to follow this same path, leaving the Midwest to travel to California to play punk music every night with my friends.”
We say: “The laid back song of the dreamer, ‘The Midwest’ appeals to the innate desire to discover the world that lies in all of us. It’s optimism is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and with each listen we become more inspired and motivated!
This song has a great message, think big and who knows maybe one day you could be playing guitar and living the dream on the sunny streets of California.”
‘The Midwest’ is available to stream for free now under the name of Mugged By A Ghost’s frontman Jordan McMurray.
