The announcement that Mumford & Sons, Rihanna and The Killers will all headline T in the Parknext summer has sparked speculation that they may play Ireland around the same time.
Traditionally, the Scottish festival has shared many acts with the Oxegen festival in Co. Kildare, and although the Irish festival took a break last year, it's due to return next summer. Last year a series of large gigs at Phoenix Park, Dublin took place over the same weekend as T in the Park.

Other acts confirmed for T in the Park include the Script, ALT-J, Paloma Faith, Jake Bugg and Of Monster and Men. The festival takes place on the 12th-14th of July 2013.
