Gnarkats - Problems
Thursday 7th April 2016
They Say: “This song was inspired by our drunken antics; it's really fun to play and has a lot of energy so we tend to end all of our live shows with it just to really get the crowd going and leave people with a blast of energy. We recorded everything for this track with a single microphone and mixed it with our friend Mickey.”
We Say: “Loaded with riffs designed to melt faces, there’s a glorious nonchalance to everything about this song - as if - for Gnarkats - creating something so big and nasty is like making a cup of tea. Proof once again that Northern Ireland does noisy guitars better than most.”
Gnarkats play The Underground, Draperstown on 9th April alongside Kryptic State, Maw and The Thin Air DJs. On 23rd June they play The Eglantine Bar, Belfast with Salad Boyz and Dandelion Tea.
As often as possible Across the Line aims to bring you a great new, recent or interesting track each day, Monday to Friday. To get your new music to Across the Line send it via the BBC Introducing Uploader.
