PRS Women Make Music Fund

PRS for Music Foundation are currently welcoming applications for their Women Make Music fund.

PRS started the fund in 2010 to "break down assumptions and stereotypes within the music industry", "raise awareness of the gender gap", "increase the profile of women creating new music in the UK" and to "stimulate new collaborations".

Funds of £5000 are available to succesful applicants, and it is open to women who make new music of any genre.



Previous funding went to artsist such as Laura Mvula, Serafina Steer and many more.

Application deadlines in 2014 are:

28th April (for activity taking place from Aug 14)

29th Sept (for activity taking place from Jan 15)
