Jordie Sunshine - Kanzi
They Say: "I created Kanzi on a program called Logic. At the time, I was listening to a lot of 'Bonobo'. I was also listening to a lot of traditional Irish music, which is why there is strong use of soft-synth flutes, whistles and a harp. This fusion of heavy synth, electro, Hip Hop beats, bass and pentatonicism on traditional instruments, is a signpost to what I'm working on next - which I hope people will also be interested in."
We Say: "An older track, but one that only made its way to the BBC Introducing Uploader recently - Experimental and soundtracky, this type of stuff wouldn’t usually find itself on an ATL, but the Belfast producer has given us a welcomed reminder of the joyous Lemon Jelly, whilst at the same time sounding like an upbeat, neon Kraftwerk. Sound weird? It is. Which is a good thing, of course."
