As you'll have gathered if you heard our 'blink-and-you'll-miss-it' gig guide last night, there's not a huge amount happening over the next few days. But that just gives us time to get excited about the wave of festivals coming our way, right?
Anyway, one absolute gem taking place on Saturday nighy is a mini-festival (of sorts) at Voodoo, showcasing a lovely mess of the noisier, more brutal end of the scene here in Northern Ireland. Here's headliners and princes of hardcore By Any Means with your invitation….
'On saturday 13th July at Voodoo Belfast we host some of the finest and heaviest bands on the belfast metal scene to showcase what NI rock and metal has to offer. Expect riffs, fast beats, slower paced heaviness and everything in between. Kicking off at 8pm , with first band at 9pm. Leave your fringes and heavy rimmed glasss at the door, this will be heavy!!'
