PLAN B for The Big Music Project

The Big Music Project Live is set to take place in Belfast next month.



The project aims to help young people across the UK find work and training opportunities in the music industry. Plan B – the rapper, singer-songwriter and film director - will be at the event offering 'insider knowledge and advice on building a career in the music industry'. The event, which is open to 14-24 year olds, will take place at Belfast City Hall on Saturday 18 October.



There will be several events taking place throughout the day, including music sessions and workshops in Music Production, Performance, Event Management, Rigging, Lighting and Set Design.



The Big Music Project Live is part of a yearlong project across the UK, which also includes; The Big Music Project Competition, a careers initiative “On Track” which offers work placements and internships, and a BRIT School Toolkit for UK Youth Champions. Some of the local partners in the event include Generator NI, Youth Action NI, Oh Yeah Centre, Nerve Centre and Queens University Sonics Arts Institute.
