The Geneva Experiment - Drive
They say – “The track itself was recorded at Start Together studios, in Belfast, it is the second single we have released after our first track 'Collision'. It is influenced between hard-core and alternative, with a small twist of pop rock. The lyrics are based on the hardship each band member have had to struggle through to get where we are now. 'Drive' is basically our story about the struggle and discontent of keeping past bands together, It's also about not letting other people drag you down and stopping you from doing what you love. We used juxtaposition of happy music against lyrics full of rage to express these feelings.”
We say – “What is it about the north coast? Are kids up there born with guitars in their hands, riffing as they toddle, in bands before primary school? Here's another reliably noisy outfit from that neck of the woods (Coleraine, to be precise) with a growling, monstrosity of a track to blow away the cobwebs.”
