Gig Round-up: News for Electric Picnic and Indiependence Festival

The line-up for this year’s Body&Soul presence at Electric Picnic has been announced. In their own area of the festival grounds, set across three stages, the line-up includes tUnE-yArDs, Girl Band, Altered Hours and Sleep Thieves, as well as installations and exhibits for the now sold out Co.Laois festival.
Belfast-based label Champion Sound Recordings are to host a night on one of the Body&Soul stages on Saturday 30th August. This night will serve as a showcase for their full roster: Ryan Vail, Contour, Ghosts, UNKNWN, Talkboy and Replete.
The stage times for Cork’s Indiependence Festival 2014 have also been announced this week. The line-up includes Public Enemy, White Lies, Hozier, Go Wolf and the Minutes among many more.
