Gig of the Week - And So I Watch You From Afar

Across The Line

Since announcing our gig of the week with a blast of the new And So I Watch You From Afar album on Monday night, we've been listening to said album on repeat. Which may explain our bleary eyes and penchant for extreme grumpiness.

Best get some sleep then, not long until Friday night when the boys launch their European tour with a gig in, yes....Newry. Isn't that where U2 kicked off their last European tour?

Anyway, Amplfied is the venue and feisty young three piece Hornets have been hand picked by the band to act as support not just on this show, but ASIWYFA's entire Irish tour. Here's what the lads from Hornets had to say by way of invitation....

'We're really excited to be heading out with ASIWYFA, it's come at a really great time for us as we have our 'Truth' EP dropping on 20th April for any of the cats that know what's up! Generally speaking if you're going to shows to see a band such as ASIWYFA then you're a music fan and it's great for us to get to play in front of those kinds of people and promote the fact we have the EP coming out!

'I suppose people can expect a sweaty and positive release of negative energy. It'll be great to play in front of completely new people and get that honest reaction.....'
